Robert Brubaker is an American operatic tenor. Born in Manheim, Pennsylvania, he is an alumnus of the Hartt College of Music. He began his career at the New York City Opera as a baritone in the opera chorus. He eventually became a leading tenor with the company, appearing in such roles as Alfred in Die Fledermaus, Alfredo in La traviata, Cavaradossi in Tosca, the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, and Rodolfo in La bohème. He has since worked as a guest artist with opera companies internationally, including the Canadian Opera Company, English National Opera, the Houston Grand Opera, the Israeli Opera, the Metropolitan Opera, the Mostly Mozart Festival, the Opéra Bastille, the Salzburg Festival, the Seattle Opera, the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, the Vancouver Opera, and the Washington National Opera among others.
